Resit specific considerations

Summary

This guide attempts to highlight considerations specific to handling resits when using TurnItIn, Ultra Assignment or Gradescope.

It is primarily aimed at administrators.

When setting up resit submission points, there are some steps that will make this much simpler for students and also reduce the administrative burden:

1. Use a new submission point, and consider restricting this to only the students who need to resit.
2. Manage existing (non-resit) submission points to prevent resits being submitted to them.
3. There are some other general considerations that may be helpful, such as turning off Automatic zeroes.
